Most recently, Chelsea worked for Gordon Thomas Honeywell Governmental Affairs, a Tacoma-based governmental affairs firm that lobbies at every level of government. Chelsea began her career as an intern and later staff member for U.S. Representative Derek Kilmer while attending the University of Washington Tacoma. She received a degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics with a focus in Human Rights and Criminal Justice.

After leaving Rep. Kilmer’s Office, Chelsea attended the University of Washington School of Law with a focus on public policy. She invested significant time and energy into UW Law’s Legislative Advocacy Clinic, working with legislators to draft and advance criminal justice legislation.

Chelsea began her Olympia-based work in the Office of the Attorney General as a law clerk in the Government Compliance & Enforcement Division. She focused on issues such as regulatory compliance and public disclosure law violations.

A proud native of the south Puget Sound, Chelsea serves as a Board Member for the Center for Dialog and Resolution, an independent non-profit offering mediation, training, and consulting services in downtown Tacoma, Washington.
